Lepton pair photoproduction in peripheral relativistic heavy-ion collisions

We study the lepton pair photoproduction in peripheral heavy-ion collisions based on formalism our previous work [Phys. Rev. D 104, 056011 (2021)]. present numerical results for distributions of transverse momentum, azimuthal angle and invariant mass $e^{+}e^{-}$ $\mu^{+}\mu^{-}$ pairs as functions impact parameter other kinematic variables Au+Au collisions. Our calculation incorporates information momentum polarization photons which is essential to describe experimental data. observe a broadening effect with without smear effects. also significant enhancement distribution $\cos(2\varphi)$ pairs. provide baseline future studies higher order corrections beyond Born approximation medium effects production.
